How is the commission on crypto calculated?

To calculate the crypto commission example if you opened a BTCUSD trade:

Commission rate in all account types for all Crypto currency symbols is 0.075% or 0.00075

Let’s take for example a trade with entry price 57046.23

Trade volume is 0.05 lot of BTCUSD.

1 lot for BTCUSD is 1 BTC and the total volume is 0.05 BTC.

Notional volume of the trade is volume times price or 0.05 * 57046.23 = 2852.31 USD

Commission amount is calculated as commission rate time notional volume or 0.00075 * 2852.31 = 2.14 USD per trade.

For round turn commission we need to take sum of commissions for opening and for closing trades.

In this case 2.14 + 2.14 = 4.28 USD

Remember our spreads on Crypto are raw so there is no markup, the only spread is the market spread.
